Tom Gray, Senior Financial Writing Consultant

Mr. Gray is a veteran financial writer and communications consultant for a number of news organizations and corporate clients. In a career spanning three decades, he has written for publications such as the Los Angeles Times and Investor's Business Daily. For the past four years he has been a regular contributor to the Deloitte & Touche bimonthly publication TMT Trends, where he writes on emerging technologies, management trends and capital markets for young growth companies.

Mr. Gray has also been a senior editor at Investor's Business Daily and an editorial-page copy editor of the Los Angeles Daily News, where his writing won a number of statewide and regional awards. He has authored three books on online investing (published by John Wiley & Sons): Teach Yourself Investing Online, Investing Online for Dummies Quick Reference, and the latest, Online Investing Bible.

A graduate with distinction from Stanford University, Mr. Gray also holds a master's degree in English from UCLA. His areas of expertise include biotechnology, computer hardware and software, defense and aerospace, financial services and health care.
